Guidelines for the Lyrics field
1. Use well known spellings of each word even if it's slang
ex. "cause" is better than "cos" or "cuz".
2. Lyrics should have a source, or contain more than six different words not including the words in the title
E.g. songs without a source with the same few words repeated over and over will not be accepted.
3. Split up the lyric in sections/verses for easier readability
Typing it in one monstrous wall of text may lead to it being disapproved, so don't be afraid to use linebreaks every once in a while. :)
4. There's no need to end the lines with a comma or dot,
although a question mark is recommended in case of questions.
5. Mark repetitions in a song with brackets.
i. Mark line repetitions with a [2x] at the end of the line, where 2 is the number of repetitions.
If there's a unknown or big number of repeats you may use a question mark, like this: Do you like violence? [?x]
ii. Mark repetitions of whole verses by placing the [3x] after the block:
The beats, the bombs
The beats, this is how we do it!
[3x]
iii. Mark individual word repetitions with parenthesis
ex. "Raise your fist, for angerfist! (fist [?x])" would be the same as "Raise your fist, for angerfist! fist fist fist fist fist fist fist"
6. Mark words you can't make out with three periods in brackets, [...]
If there are too many, you're better off posting it as a request to get other users to help you fill in the blanks.

Guidelines for the Release field
The release field should look like:
Album Name [Catalog#]
Releases with various artists should be prefixed with 'Various'
Example: Various - Lololyrics Summer Volume 1 [LOLO001]
How do I find the catalog#/year/etc?
A good site to verify album and single releases is
Discogs.com.
Example: Finding the info for Meck - Dino (Inpetto Remix):
1. Go to Discogs.com and search for:
Meck - Dino (Inpetto Remix)
2. Looks like the track is on the 'So Strong' vinyl, click on the release.
3. Now you see that it's featuring Dino, year is 2008, catalog# is FRE11TX, etc.
This is the right track info for the example:
Artist: Meck ft. Dino
Track: So Strong (Inpetto Remix)
Release: So Strong [FRE11TX]
Year: 2008
If it's re-released on different labels, pick a release with a good cover
The cover will be grabbed automatically from Discogs. (May take a few hours)
